This program provides a bank of data in the form of synoptic charts which can be used to teach elementary meteorology. Data from weather stations (temperature, wind speed and direction, cloud cover, and weather conditions) may be displayed and their relationship with isobars and fronts (which may be superimposed on the weather map) can be discussed. The weather system can be moved across the screen, allowing elementary ideas of weather forecasting to be introduced.
