This program is intended to be used as an aid in the understanding of the principles of homeostasis. It can be used (i) as a class demonstration to illustrate negative feedback and the antagonistic effects of hte components regulating the system, or (ii) in a more interactive way by groups of students or individuals, allowing them to explore the complexities of the control of blood sugar level.
