This program is designed to user school computer facilities to help students study the problem of population and food objectively. The program contains a mathematical model of world population and food supplies. It subjects exponential population growth to the constraint of food supplies limited by the 'law' of diminishing returns and the availability of non-renewable resources such as oil and cultivable land. The simple model was developed as a teaching tool that would be easier for students to understand and analyse than more complex models.
