HyperDriver is a machine code service utility for the control of a printer attached to any version of the BBC or Master Series micros. It is designed as an easy-to-use interface between you and your printer, independent of the application environment. This means that HyperDriver is used in the same way, with the same commands and facilities, regardless of the language, program or wordprocessor that you are using. If you can use operating system (OS) commands - commands entered with an asterisk - you can use HyperDriver.

For use with the VIEW wordprocessor, HyperDriver includes an integrated VIEW printer driver. When this is used all of HyperDriver's facilities are as easily available in VIEW, as in, say InterWord, Wordwise Plus, BASIC or from the keyboard.

HyperDriver is compatible with all versions of operating systems of 1.0 or later, all models of the BBC Micro or Master Series (including the Compact), all versions of BBC BASIC, all versions of VIEW and all filing systems. It is also compatible with 6502 second processors and, with limitations, CP/M and DOS Plus second processors.
