Ultimate Play the Game's classic filmation game made it onto the Amstrad in a blaze of colour.
Sabre man must be guided round a series of rooms filled with deadly traps and guards, to collect objects to be deposited into the Wizard's cauldron with the aim to cure him of a curse that turns him into a werewolf every night, if he does not cast the spell soon, the change will be permanent. Without the worry of colour clash, the Amstrad version of Knight Lore is certainly a more colourful affair, unfortunately in doing so, the game can be cripplingly slow at times, when platforms or more than a couple of characters move it is like watching a slideshow, also whoever though it was a good idea for a simple ditty to be played when Sabre man takes a walk? that becomes irritating very quickly.
