Strider is a fighting, platform game which was originally released for arcades in 1989. The game is set in a dystopian future in the year 2048 where the "Grandmaster" rules over the world. Hiryu (who the player controls) is the youngest ever Super A Ranked member of a ninja organisation comprised of agents called Striders. The player uses the eight-way joystick controls and two buttons (one to jump, one to attack) to control Hiryu through five stages.
