DataMerge is a software package which operates with the BBC AIV System, equipped with an ADFs disc drive, and the Domesday LV ROM videodiscs. The package offers the facility for retrieval of tabular and mappable datasets from ADFs disc rather than the Domesday National videodisc. This allows you to display and analyse your own dataset using the facilities of the Domesday System Software. It also offers the capability for updating dataset from the National videodisc by transferring dataset to ADFS using the DOWNLOAD operation in the DataDisplay software, formatting them using the DataFormat and then editing with the DataEditor.
