This was supplied with our rack mounted TI 990 computer system operating at 800 bpi. This provides facilities for serial mass data storage with the 990 system. The magnetic tape system consists of interface/controller, up to three transport systems, interconnect cabling and a resitive-terminator module. The transport, used as a digital data recorder/reproducer is capable of operating continuously under intensive tape activity
