Urban Strike is the third game in the Strike series of isometric vehicle action games. It was the first in the series to include on-foot sections alongside helicopters and ground-based craft. The player is taked with keeping America safe from a tyrannical media mogul.

After the success that Desert Strike and sequel Jungle Strike had enjoyed, Urban Strike was something of an anti-climax. The difficulty and engaging mission objectives of the first two games was noticably absent. It was a case of diminishing returns.

Urban Strike would receive a sequel called Soviet Strike on Sony's PlayStation. The series ended with Nuclear Strike, also on the PlayStation.
