Cray Research (UK) Ltd Report on the Results of Running The University of London Computer Centre Procurement Benchmark Issue 2 This report presents the results of running the ULCC Procurement Benchmark on a CRAY-1S computer system as proposed by Cray Research (UK) Ltd to meet the ULCC Rear-End Processor Requirement. The information provided in this report includes that requested by ULCC in the document "University of London Computer Centre - Processor Performance Tests". Cray Research will, of course, be pleased to provide any further information required in connection with this exercise and to discuss the results in detail with ULCC staff. Section 2 of this report summarises both the benchmark task and the results achieved. Sections 3, 4, and 5 provide a more detailed account of the task, the method employed, and the results. The appendices provide reference material on various aspects of the benchmark exercise.
