From the Preface: "This manual (1) describes how to write application programs for the Advanced Communications Function for VTAM (ACF/VTAM) Release 3 and for the Multisystem Networking Facility that is available with ACF/VTAM Release 3, and (2) contains detailed information on the macro instructions used with ACF/VTAM. The macro instructions are used to write the data communication portions of ACF/VTAM application programs that communicate with logical units within the same ACF/VTAM domain, in an ACF/VTAME domain, in an ACF/TCAM domain, or in another ACF/VTAM domain. This manual provides the specifications needed to code such programs. This manual is for any programmer, whether an application programmer or a system programmer, who must write a program that uses ACF/VTAM macro instructions.
