Archos is a French multinational electronics company that was established in 1988 and manufactures tablets, smartphones, portable media players and portable data storage devices.

The Archos 9 PC Tablet is a portable Windows-based tablet released by Archos around 2009. It features a 9-inch resistive touchscreen with a 1024x600 resolution, making it suitable for basic media consumption and web browsing. Running on Windows 7, the tablet has an intel Atom 7515 processor, 1GB of RAM, and a small 60GB hard drive, which limited its performance and multitasking ability.

The Archos 9 includes basic connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a single USB port, though it lacks a physical keyboard, relying on an on-screen keyboard instead. It was designed as a lightweight device for users wanting a compact, touch-capable Windows device, though its processing power and battery life were limited by modern standards.
