This unit has been written with 13-15 year old students in mind, though it could be used with older students. Certain minimal prior knowledge is assumed. The aim of this program is to present information about the industrial process of manufacturing sulphuric acid in such a way that the principles underlying the choice of conditions can be worked out with a consequent improvement in understanding and retention.
